Why Do Things Breathe?

Why do living things breathe? When do they stop?

The heartbeat is the sound of the heart pumping to push blood around the body. The blood has four main components, which are: the red blood cells, the white blood cells, the liquid and plasma. The red blood cell will carry the oxygen and it will go to every area of the body.

Sometimes, if people run, the oxygen won’t flow around the body as well as it would and people will be out of breath. When you’re running fast, the human body needs more oxygen, so our hearts beat faster to pump it round our body.

The heart is responsible for pumping the oxygen rich-blood that goes through the very small tubes that go to every single part of our body. The blood is pushed to all of the parts of our body, then the blood is pushed back again. Did you know that it takes less than one minute for the blood to go around our body?

The circulating  is about the blood circulating around the body. The system is called the circulatory system because the blood is circulating around the body. If we don’t have the circulatory system, we wouldn’t be alive.

In conclusion, the circulating system is very important for our body and if we don’t have it, we wouldn’t be alive.
